Scouting already teaches communication and leadership. On the field, those skills stop being abstract: patrols have to plan, adapt, and cover each other under pressure — and the lesson teaches itself.
Patrol-based play maps naturally onto troop structure. Older scouts lead younger ones, and communication under pressure is the real takeaway.
It's an outdoor challenge in a fully controlled environment — professional referees, full safety gear, and rules that are actually enforced.

Every private group booking includes:
- Admission for every participant
- Marker or blaster rental for each player
- Full-face safety masks and protective gear
- Paintballs or gel rounds included in every package
- Professional referees running all games
- Full safety briefing before play
- Reserved private group area with covered picnic tables
- Multiple fields and game modes
Bring your own food and drinks — the group area is yours for the day. Participants just need comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.
From a single patrol to the whole district.
We host scout groups from 10 to 80+. Gel Blast (recommended ages 5+) fits Cub Scout packs, while low-impact paintball and laser tag (recommended 7+) fit older scouts and crews.
Patrols can compete head-to-head with referee scoring. Leaders can play or supervise, and every scout under 18 needs a waiver with a parent signature — share our waivers page ahead of the outing.
Patrol method works a lot better when the patrol has to actually cover each other.

Questions Before You Book
Gel blast is recommended for ages 5+ (great for Cub Scouts), and low-impact paintball and laser tag are recommended for 7+.

Yes — patrol-based competition with referee scoring is one of our favorite formats for troops.
