Who we are

This website is operated by Cousins Paintball Inc, doing business as Cousins Adventure Parks (“Cousins,” “we,” “us”). Our parks are located in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and Texas. Questions about this policy: info@cousinsadventureparks.com, or the phone number on our Contact page.

What we collect

Information you give us: name, email, phone, and party or group details when you book, request a quote, sign up for our newsletter, apply for a job, or contact us. Booking payments are processed by our booking provider; we do not store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically: pages viewed, links clicked, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you arrived at our site (for example, from a search engine or an ad). We collect this only after you choose your cookie preferences, except for what is strictly necessary to run the site.

Information from third parties: if you fill out a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, we receive what you submitted there.

The services that handle your data

Booking and payments: Checkfront. Event and season-pass registration: RedPodium. Contact and quote forms: Web3Forms. Newsletter and email: Brevo. Event calendar, job application, and promotional widgets: Elfsight. Site analytics: Google Analytics 4. Advertising measurement: Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). Hosting: Vercel. Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and your choices

We use three categories: strictly necessary (site function, booking, your cookie choice), analytics (Google Analytics), and marketing (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, campaign attribution). Analytics and marketing cookies load only after you accept them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out of marketing cookies.

How we use your information

To run and confirm your booking, answer your questions, send the newsletter you signed up for, keep the site secure, understand which pages and campaigns bring people to us, and improve the parks and the site.

Advertising measurement and hashed data

To measure whether our ads lead to bookings, we may share limited booking information — such as an email address, phone number, name, and postal code — with Google and Meta. Before sharing, this information is converted into a scrambled code (a cryptographic hash) so the platforms can match it against their own records without receiving your readable details. This sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising under some state laws. You can opt out by declining marketing cookies in Cookie preferences, or by contacting us.

Children

Our activities are enjoyed by young players, but this website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. Bookings and waivers for minors are completed by a parent or guardian.

Your rights

Residents of Virginia, Texas, New Jersey, and other states with consumer privacy laws may have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email above. We will respond within the time required by your state’s law and will not treat you differently for making a request.

Retention and security

We keep booking and contact records as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
